Broadband control on scattering events with interferometric coherent waves

We propose a universal strategy to realize broadband control on arbitrary scatterers, through multiple coherent beams. By engineering the phases and amplitudes of incident beams, one can suppress dominant scattering partial waves, making obstacle lose its intrinsic responses in spectrum. The associated beams generate finite static region, inside which corresponding electric field intensity Poynting vector vanish. As solution go beyond sum-rule limit, our methodology is also irrespective inherent system properties, as well extrinsic operating wavelength, providing non-invasive wave-obstacles interaction for any kinds shape.
